Human resources usually have harassment as an issue that comes up often. In some instances, harassment may be defined to include both welcomed and unwelcomed actions. Welcomed actions may be provoked by an accuser of harassment. These types of circumstances bring up the need to document situations in order to prove wrongs. If it is just one person’s word against another, there may be risks in terminating someone. To foresee the circumstances, documentation may be put in place in the form of cameras to review the actual working of employees.

Another issue that comes up often is unemployment where if there are no documents to justify the need to terminate someone for cause, the employer may have difficulty arguing against giving a person unemployment. Cameras may be necessary to show someone was not working in order to fight an unemployment claim in order to prevent a company with reason to terminate from having to pay unemployment.
