On December 1, 2007, some in law mingled at a holiday party in South San Francisco by BayAsians.org.  The party had over 50 people attend, and there was serious security and RSVP check in at the front door.

The party had a slew of food from sweets to chow mein to Costco’s famous chicken.  For entertainment, there was a showing of House of Flying Daggers and ballroom dancing, complete with instructor. 

Many guests spoke Mandarin and sang romance songs during karaoke.  The host, who works at a major well known law firm, dressed in red and was friendly in greeting guests.  Much care was taken in giving visitors driving and parking instructions.  The event was nicely scheduled at 7 pm when street parking was free.
