It seems that many credit card companies are coming up with their own online catalog, point system, and stores. This seems to follow at the footsteps of retailers who have credit cards such as Sony. Sony has long allowed people to accumulate points for movie passes, digital cameras, DVDs, and other products. However, if people were to purchase these products in the stores without the use of the credit card’s catalogs, would it not cost the same or less?
Though, attorneys who are making purchases with credit cards might as well make the cards make money for them while using with the accumulation of points. Recently on KQED there was a report that many businesses are funding themselves with credit cards. Thus, the attorney opening a firm might as well allow the cards to finance products that they would normally shell out cash for.
