In business people who do not take care to think of others do the same as the jock in Chip Ingram’s book entitled Love, Sex, and Lasting Relationships?  Ingram describes people leaving pieces of themselves with others, and taking pieces of others away from them.

Take for instance, Susan Wolfe, former general counsel of Business Objects, recently announced to M & A with SAP.  Was Wolfe’s selfishness in letting go of dedicated talent in order to hire her own staff the result of law firm partners who took away any good in her?  In her book The Last Billable Hour: A Novel, she wrote what appears to be an autobiographical novel on her years with a well known Silicon Valley law firm.  Though some critics on Amazon.com do not think the book was much of a read or literary achievement, there have been comments in how her book portrayed realistically law firm life.
