Lights Out San Francisco is a citywide energy conservation event on October 20, 2007. The event comes at the heals of Blog Action Day.On October 20, 2007, the entire city of San Francisco is invited to install one compact fluorescent light bulb (CFL) and turn off all non-essential lighting from . The event will be in Dolores Park.
As some people may know, Pacific Gas & Electric Company (“PGE”) has been giving away free light bulbs, but it is a wonder where the events are held.One event was reported by the Channel 5 news as being held in Berkeley, but the web site of PGE does not give details of events in San Francisco.
