For those attorneys interested in the environment, Acterra offers people grassroots involvement in the community to improve on the environment.

On October 30, 2007, Acterra had a light dinner and debrief for volunteers in Palo Alto, CA.  The dinner consisted of natural foods including fruits and cheese.  The dinner lived up to its advertisement of being light.  The main focus of the meeting was for volunteers to get together and provide feedback on their experiences in going into people’s homes in the Silicon Valley and Peninsula areas to educate them on energy conservation. 

Throughout the summer, Acterra volunteers have been engaging in community projects such as passing out lightbulbs, marketing films on energy conservation and environment protection, and helping homeowners screw on new showerheads. 

The meeting brought suggestions for improvement on the Acterra programs, and gave a chance for the environmentally conscious to make friends.
