The buzz on August 30, 2007 was the country music.  Reported from Nashville, TN, George Strait, who had 55 No. 1 singles in 2007 so far, was inducted to the Country Music Hall of Fame. 

For the entertainment attorney looking to get more in tune with culture, country music may be the entertainment to learn more of these days.  American Idol, for instance, recently had a few winners in the country music category.  Beverly Mitchell of 7^th Heaven fame has been moving into singing and country.

Attorneys in entertainment may also want to monitor the nominations to the Country Music Association Awards to see the trends.  Brad Paisley led with George Strait, five nominations each. Kenny Chesney, Rascal Flatts and Keith Urban had nominations for entertainer of the year category.
