Linksviewer gave a presentation at DLA Piper Rudnick Gray Cary in Palo Alto, CA on April 3, 2007.  Bob Karr was present from LinkSV.  LinkSV is mashup oriented so APIs are offered for mashups.  For those who do not know the term mashup, it means combining video, website or web application content from more than one source. 

Linksviewer is a visual network mapping of relationships in Silicon Valley.  For the attorney looking to make connections Linksviewer may be a program to check out.  The cross-referencing tool allows people to see the profiles of board members, investors, management of Silicon Valley companies while analyzing their first degree connections.  Currently, it is being offered for free.  The data comes from LinkSV.  The user needs to be aware that it is unlikely for LinkSV to have data about a company if it is in stealth mode.  If there has been funding, there is a board member, or other public activity, the company may have data in LinkSV.  After the free trial period, the company may start charging from $20-$25/month or come up with a discount program with LinkSV.  Linksviewer has a search screen similar to LinkSV.
