For those watching Nightline on ABC, there was an interesting story over the January 20, 2007 weekend on people who go online and blog about people they thought were rude.  It makes one wonder what the legal liabilities that will result?  Most likely more defamation and privacy cases coming?

There was a showing of a guy who shot videos of his neighbor stealing newspapers and putting the videos on YouTube.  There was a mention on a website called rudepeople.com where people posted about there dealings with others, and a community voted on whether to make the posts public.  There was a woman who just wrote about strangers she did not like, taking photos of them with her camera cell phone and posting about their behaviors on her website.

Is technology really improving people’s lives?
