Anyone who wants to share his/her resolutions for 2007, please make a comment.

Resolutions may be difficult to keep because it is difficult to change habits.

Most people, including legal professionals, may evolve there resolutions around the following topics:  career and income, health and safety, relationships, forgetting the past.

Career and income involve having a job where the individual enjoys the people he/she works with and allows the person to do what he/she loves.  For the attorney who is in transition, the new year may be a time to seek career counseling.  Job support groups may be found through churches, and local unemployment offices.  Income involves not only prudent investments to give a person confidence during a job search, but also sharing the income with the community.  The January 14, 2007 SF Chronicle had an interesting story on how top wealthy aces in Silicon Valley have contributed to improving the community they live in, including setting up meditation and yoga offerings for those in prison.
