On February 7, 2007, Michael Yang, CEO of Become.com spoke at a Web 2.0 event in Mountain View, CA at the offices of Fenwick & West.

Yang is an entrepreneur.  His experience includes founding mySimon.com in 1998.  mySimon grew from 2 employees to 60 in less than a year, and was selected by Forbes magazine as a top E-Commerce site in 2000. Yang has degrees from UC Berkeley and Columbia University.

The event began with a networking session where attorneys attending could speak directly with founders of companies, including a participant who started a marketplace for the biotech industry and a UC Berkeley educated MBA graduate looking for new ideas for his next company.

The event provided a communication platform for scientists, engineers, and investors to learn what was real about Web 2.0, and what the next predicted hit was in Web 2.0.
