Though a little pricey (for instance, a bagel could cost up to $4), the place is open long hours, up to midnight on Saturdays.  It is usually filled with people in business or students who either sit on the inside away from the cold during the winters, or outside on the patio, which has a lot of open space for the sun during the summers.

Café Barrone is located a few blocks away from downtown Menlo Park, CA, where the neighborhood is relatively safe.  It has free parking in the back so patrons need not worry about finding a parking space or having to fill in the meters.
