For attorneys looking for a place to meet clients outside of the office, or to take a break, The Canvas Gallery, is a place to go for entertainment, food, and coffee.  The Canvas Gallery’s mission is to the support rising artists and features progressive art amidst a cafe setting. On Sunday nights, there is usually a band that plays live music. 

Periodically, Evan Margolin, of Salsacrazy.com, who used to be an attorney himself, teaches salsa classes or holds salsa parties.  Those interested in attending Margolin's session might want to check out The Canvas Gallery's event web page.

There is an open air patio.  On any given visit, there are students and others plugged in with laptops, studying or working away.  The Canvas Gallery, located at 1200 9th Avenue (at Lincoln), San Francisco, CA 94112, is open most days from 10 am – 12 am.
