Effective January 1, 2007, House Bill 2273 amends provisions regarding business entity filings with the Arizona Corporation Commission, including provisions dealing with: restriction and prohibition of certain words or abbreviations in corporation and Limited Liability Company (LLC) names; resubmission of documents and submission of Articles of Correction for profit and nonprofit corporations and LLCs; execution of name reservation application for profit and nonprofit corporations and LLCs; renewal period for name registration for foreign profit and nonprofit corporations; foreign profit and nonprofit corporation withdrawal; LLC amendment and restatement, cancellation, and foreign LLC amendment; and the number of copies of a document an LLC must submit for filing.
