The World Affairs Council was founded in 1947.It holds weekly meetings in San Francisco, the Peninsula, and MarinCounty.Attorneys working with international laws may be interested in topics on current events including situations in Iraq, Korea, Saudi Arabia.

Special events include the Young Professionals International Forum Holiday Party on December 1, 2006, Friday.Attorneys with an interest in foreign affairs, world cultures, languages, and a global vibe is welcome to the party held at a San Francisco art gallery, Caldwell Snyder Gallery on 341 Sutter Street. Ticket prices range from $40 - $55, and includes a selection of hors d’oeuvres and beverages (beer, wine, & soft drinks).The event is from California time.The event is cosponsored by The Georgetown Club of Northern California and Cardinal Young Alumni (C-Ya).
