A representative of yousendit, an end-to-end solution to manage file sending needs, spoke about his company’s future and tools in Mountain View, CA on November 7, 2006.

The attorney looking for a professional way to send files with no FTP and clogged email boxes might consider yousendit, a web service with no upfront costs. The company received $10 million in Series A funding. It has 7 employees. It is focused on small and medium sized businesses.

The Business Plus account allows the user to send files up to 2GB each. The browser does not support downloads more than 2 GB. The user gets an individual drop box. The Business Plus account is $39.95 per month.

The user uploads multiple files and the receiver of files is able to get the files through a link to download files. The receiver is able to download files for 14 days up to 500 times. There is detailed tracking of all file transactions. The company has dedicated customer support. There is no advertising on the site.
