On November 6, 2006, Wilson Sonsini Goodrich Rosati, PC in Palo Alto, CA was the venue where Robert Scoble, VP Media Development, PodTech.net, spoke about the efficiency of word of mouth networking.
Scoble interviews CEOs around the world, and have them give product demonstrations on PodTech.net, a content mall. Companies are using videos today to get people to interact with their employees in order to incorporate consumer feedback into products. For example, Ford has a video blog that engages people to provide comments to designers. This allows the company to improve products in accordance to the needs of customers. This makes marketing become open source.

Other ways to get people to visit a site include: putting a wiki on a home page to link to content on other web sites, have good headlines, have hot news that gets repeated on many blogs, have pictures.
Scoble uses RSS feeds so that people are able to keep up with the news. Major web browsers have RSS aggregators that allows content to go to the user versus the user going to sites.
