For attorneys looking for a job through Internet job search sites, Robin Wood, ROP Web Development and Computer Applications Instructor, though not in the legal field, provides advice on her blog on how to use RSS and feed readers to assist in managing a job search.

RSS is a format for syndicating news and the content of news-like sites, including sites like Wired, community sites like Slashdot, and personal blogs. RSS and feed readers may be used, as Wood advises, for managing an online job search. Learning this technique will allow information to come to the user, and save time for a user from having to go to a site to review advertisements for jobs.

On her blog, Wood also has a recent article on accessing job search Podcasts, where she defines Podcasts as video and/or audio discussions and lectures. Instead of reading an article a user can listen to the discussions on a computer or iPod.
