 Google Alerts are email updates of the latest relevant Google results such as reports in the news, blogs, web, groups. The user is able to choose a query or topic, and receive email updates based on key words entered. For example, for monitoring lawsuits, the attorney might enter a patent number, party name, cause of action. Google Alerts is free compared to billing rates of a law firm, or Lexis Courtlink or Westlaw which may price $50 - $65 per case or docket found. |
