Employment Law Learning Technologies provides employee training on legal and ethics topics. Its solutions include courses on discrimination, harassment prevention, codes of conduct.
Its solutions allow employers to implement web based trainings throughout their organizations worldwide by allowing employees to take courses at their own time. Employees may start and stop courses and then go back to where they stopped and continue until completion. The courses allow for interactivity without having to coordinate the schedules of participants. The trainings utilize tools that monitor attendance.
It will soon release a new version of its flagship Workplace Harassment online product. The new course offers a redesigned look and feel, customization options, and content in partnership with Littler Mendelson LLP, a law firm well known for its employment practice.
For California employers, the new course anticipates upcoming regulations from the Fair Employment and Housing Commission (FEHC) regarding California's Sexual Harassment Training Law, AB1825. The law requires two hours of supervisory-level workplace harassment training.
While the regulations are not yet final, the course will be constructed to comply with the proposed regulations published in June 2006. The FEHC regulations will provide clarity to employers on the requirements of the harassment training law, as well as guidelines for compliance.
