SourceForge® Enterprise Edition (SFEE) is a centralized, collaborative solution for empowering distributed organizations to connect during projects. Though the solution is often used by IT departments, it can be used by legal departments for contract management, such as circulating draft documents for internal review and approval, tracking different versions during negotiations, and depositing final signed documents for analysis and reporting.

SFEE was based on the technology that powers SourceForge.net, the web site where more than 1.3 million open-source developers coordinate and accelerate over 118,000 open-source software projects.

SFEE’s features include integrated project and management tools, secure access controls, a real-time dashboard, flexible best practices guidelines, and integrated collaboration.
Prominent Fortune 1000 firms and government agencies use SFEE to address their distributed challenges. With SFEE, they are able to expand project visibility and control.

SFEE runs on an application server such as JBoss® or WebLogic®, and an underlying database such as Oracle® or PostgreSQL. For security and control, SFEE is usually installed behind a company’s firewall on a dedicated server running either Linux® or Solaris® or as a hosted solution.
