When afraid, it is possible to blend with the strength of an attacker so as not to show fear. This is how to get a competitor off balance. Versus launching an overt attack, use the competitor's momentum. Do not focus on the competitor. Instead, focus on one's own game plans to stay balanced.
Become familiar with the unfamiliar in order to be comfortable in new environments. The discomfort of uncertainty is the most precious part of an experience. If one can feel comfortable not knowing, one can learn anything.
Character comes from regret. Remember the mistakes that cannot be changed and are too late to redo. Life is all about entries that should be edited but are not. If possible, apologize and make amends to others, such as partners or customers, for any mistakes. If not possible, remember the mistakes for the next time so they will not be repeated. One cannot have character if a lot of things are done without regretting any of them.
There is beauty in truth versus the commercial. Be relational to others versus inner concentrated.
Relax tensions that consume energies. Stress reduction increases productivity. Stress comes from the degree which things cannot be controlled, or are perceived to be threats. Pause and ask whether an issue justifies the perceived threat, and whether it will matter in the future. Only respond to situations that have potential long-term impacts.
