Tips on making presentations:
Do your best presentation by imagining that you will not see the audience again. People get an idea of who you are from your posture and walk, even when you are not saying anything.
Eye contact shows focus, sincerity, confrontation, awareness that others are present.
Balance listening with speaking. Do not interrupt. Listen to take ideas from others. Hold your space by not speaking too fast.
Stand on feet to show confidence. Do not leave too quickly. Stay a while because may lead to somewhere unexpected. If leave the stage, do not be afraid to go back on.
What is the objective? Start with something that you can change. If you have nothing to begin with, you have no direction. Plan the structure and improvise the rest. Be consistent to be honest, but do not always use the same ideas. When ideas are stale, say or do the opposite of what you would normally do. No improvising when routine. Add something new in order to lead to a different direction.
