Thanks for your blog. I'm interested to know if you might want to blog about the lack of employer-sponsored maternity management initiatives in the corporate environment. Many employers fail to benchmark maternity-driven costs, which include turnover, absenteeism, productivity loss, extended leave time and medical claims. Health plans don't address those costs, and as I'm sure you'll agree, FMLA is merely a starting point for employers. I would be pleased to be a resource if you have an opportunity to address the issue.
